The Dumaresq family has practiced architecture in Nova Scotia since 1870. The present firm, SP Dumaresq Architect Limited has been in practice for 40 years.

Through four generations of strong work ethic and passion for architecture, SPDA has established a reputation for meeting client needs and budgets with innovative building design. Delighted clients are municipal, provincial and federal government, charity organizations, developers, private sector, and residential property owners.

Over the last 40 years SPDA has focused on Health Care facilities, Public institutions, Offices and Commercial projects, Conservation and Restorative work, as well as Conceptual Design studies.
